Position Overview

We are a rapid growing Managed IT Services Provider looking for a highly motivated and disciplined Sales Development Representative that will be the frontline of the sales organization. This is a critical role that is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients who can benefit from managed IT services, cybersecurity, infrastructure support, and cloud solutions. Your mission is to generate pipeline opportunities to continue to feed our accelerating growth. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Follow the company’s defined MSP sales process from initial outreach through closing the deal, ensuring every prospect moves through each stage methodically.
  • Leverage customer relationship management tools (e.g., HubSpot & ZoomInfo) to log activities, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain data accuracy.
  • Execute daily prospecting activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) to generate qualified meetings with small business managers and mid-market decision-makers.
  • Conduct structured discovery calls to uncover pain points related to IT reliability, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, and support costs.
  • Adhere to established follow-up cadences to ensure prompt communication
  • Report on KPIs weekly, including meetings set, opportunities created, and pipeline value.
  • Actively participate in coaching sessions to improve performance within the sales framework.


Qualifications

  • Experience: One to three years’ experience as a sales development representative within a Managed IT Service Provider or a similar role within the industry selling to small to medium size businesses
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field from a four-year college or university
  • Systems: Familiarity with MSP tools (RMM, MDM, Endpoint Security, Microsoft 365)
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the managed IT industry
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-solving.
  • Professionalism: Proven to be self-motivated with an ability to handle confidential information with discretion and thrive in a client-service-focused environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current salary pay scale for this position is $50,000-55,000 plus commissions. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. 
  • The position is eligible for quarterly bonuses based on several factors including company performance, individual contributions and market forces.
