Position Overview
The Assistant Manager (Yoga Program Support) provides essential administrative, operational, and on-site support for the yoga program. This role works closely with the Studio Director to maintain clear systems, strong communication, and a high-quality experience for staff and students.
This is a part-time role (10–12 hours/week) with the intention to grow over time as the studio continues to expand. For the right person, this is a meaningful foot-in-the-door opportunity with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Support
- Assist with class scheduling, substitutions, and calendar updates
- Handle basic email communication and follow-ups
- Maintain organized records, documents, and internal systems
- Support established studio processes and escalate higher-level issues to the Director when needed
Yoga Program & Staff Support
- Support the onboarding of yoga teachers and work-trade staff
- Help organize and manage the Karmi Yogi (work-trade) program
- Serve as a point of contact for teachers when the Director is unavailable
Front-of-House & Studio Support
- Assist with opening/closing duties and space readiness
- Act as on-site support during select classes
- Help maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming studio environment
Schedule & Availability
- 10–12 hours per week (hybrid)
- On-call availability for Fridays and Saturdays, and during times when the Director is out of office
- Occasional in-studio presence required
Compensation
- $1,200 per month
