Position Summary:
Undertakes the support, the best organization and actively participates in all the processes of the Shipping Department in order to have smooth operation and proper execution of all required export/Local procedures of the products.
Essential Functions:
- Preparation of reports and analysis of transport companies' price lists
- Control and recording of all shipping costs in the system, analysis of shipments and data
- Participate in the management of all shipments, for proper customer service and proper pricing
- Participation in the issuance of all shipping documents (shipping notes, invoices, credit) and customs documents
- Communication with freight forwarders and customs brokers during the whole procedure of the shipment (export or local)
- Uploading of Transportation expenses inside ERP system
- Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Receives orders from the Sales Department and confers with the warehouse, to coordinate for the timely and safe delivery to the clients.
- Provide Transport Costs to the Sales department by evaluating the data from our ERP system.
- Support warehouse operations when necessary, assisting in inventory management, order preparation, and ensuring smooth logistics flow.
Position Qualifications:
- Educational background in Maritime or Financial studies or Logistics,
- Shipping experience regarding Import or Export procedure, preferably 1 or 2 years.
- Excellent command of the English language,
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel),
- Good organizational and communication skills,
