Assistant Principal, Revere Middle School (Grades 68)

Revere Middle School is seeking an Assistant Principal who is a collaborative, visible, student-centered, relational, instructional leader who thrives in a team-oriented environment, is driven by continuous improvement, and is committed to helping "Every Student Thrive".
The ideal candidate will
Lead for Academic Excellence
- Support high-quality, standards-based instruction aligned to Ohio Learning Standards
- Value evidence-based and research-based high leverage instructional practices such as the teacher clarity framework, formative instructional practices, and timely feedback.
- Conduct teacher evaluations (OTES 2.0), school counselor evaluations (OSCES), and provide actionable feedback
- Lead and support MTSS structures and data-informed decision-making
- Assist with state and local assessment administration and analysis
- Collaborate on master scheduling to maximize student support and intervention access
Cultivate a Positive Middle School Culture
- Lead student discipline using restorative practices and PBIS frameworks
- Supervise daily operations to ensure a safe, orderly, and engaging environment
- Support student attendance initiatives and family engagement efforts
- Participate in student support, IEP, and 504 meetings
- Promote student voice and student belonging
- Maintain a positive social media presence using established accounts and provided technology
Support & Develop Staff
- Foster a collaborative culture rooted in trust, accountability, and growth
- Coach and mentor educators to strengthen instructional practices
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and uphold district policies and ethical standards
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Ohio Administrative License for the middle grades
- OTES 2.0 and OSCES Credentialed Evaluator
- Successful teaching experience (middle level preferred)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Experience with MTSS, restorative practices, and data analysis preferred
- Experience with instructional leadership preferred
- Working knowledge of school law as it relates to IDEA, 504, and student discipline
