LOCATION: Richfield Elementary School
DUTIES:
General responsibility of the lunchroom/playground aide is to supervise students during their lunch and recess periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have or to be able to obtain a Student Monitor Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
Training and/or experience in maintaining the safety of students while serving as a positive role model
Ability to work in a fast paced child-centered environment
Ability to work empathetically with at-risk students
Ability to accurately follow directions
Ability to work with all students, school staff and parents
Willingness to implement specific discipline/behavioral management plans
Understanding of confidentiality of information about students and all school matters
Willingness to work cooperatively with others
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates (unless current employees) must pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
