Job Description
A growing transportation company is expanding its operations team in Chicago. We are looking for a Service Coordinator to remotely manage fleet maintenance and ensure timely handling of repairs, breakdowns, and service-related issues across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch roadside assistance, towing, and repair services for trucks and trailers.
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, and service providers to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Monitor incoming breakdowns and prioritize urgent situations.
- Work with repair shops to obtain estimates, approve repairs, and control costs.
- Track repair progress and ensure minimal downtime for the fleet.
- Maintain accurate service records and update internal systems.
- Collaborate closely with Dispatch and Safety teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with company maintenance standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in transportation/logistics or fleet maintenance coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Work Hours
- 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM CST (Monday–Friday)
