The Opportunity
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing an assigned territory through a combination of new business development, account growth, customer retention, and relationship management.
You will:
• Prospect for and develop new customers
• Grow sales volume and profitability across existing accounts
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and presentations
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and negotiate opportunities
• Develop and manage an active sales pipeline
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
• Support sales planning and territory analysis
• Manage customer consignments when applicable
• Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory — 60% of the role is field-based
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a high-performing outside sales professional who is comfortable prospecting, building relationships, and creating business opportunities in the field.
Qualifications:
✅ 2–5 years of successful outside/territory sales experience
✅ Proven track record of new business development and customer retention
✅ Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills
✅ Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
✅ Comfortable conducting product demonstrations and customer presentations
✅ Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
✅ Strong organizational skills and follow-through
✅ Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
A bachelor's degree is preferred; however, 2–5 years of relevant successful sales experience may substitute for a degree.
