Material Handler Associate

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join the Revelyst Golf & Technology platform team.

Job Overview

The Material Handler position moves and stores materials, supplies and finished goods, etc. to designated departments or areas within the facility either manually or by hand truck. Move stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas; as well as sort materials and supplies and prepare them according to their work orders.

As the Material Handler you will have an opportunity to:

• Performs various material handling duties within the facility including loading materials, supplies or finished product using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Assist Lead Person in setting up jobs for all department personnel.
• Learn all aspects of product assembled for department production.
• Supply all workers with material and track supplies of parts on the floor.
• Write requisitions to the warehouse when necessary.
• Must check the accuracy of all orders and their parts coming into the department.
• Stacks skids, pallets or cartons in designated areas.
• Cleans up and disposes of scrap, cardboard and strapping, etc. and places in proper containers or designated areas.
• Uses simple hand tools to perform job duties.
• Completes required logs and records as required.
• Operates and uses all equipment following standard work instructions and operating procedures.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules and Vista Outdoor Code of Conduct.
• Practices good housekeeping by keeping storage areas and aisles clean and accessible.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
  
  

You Have

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One to three (1-3) years of production experience preferred.
• Flexibility with work schedule and task changes.
• Be prepared to work overtime daily and Saturdays as needed.
• Manual dexterity required for operating equipment.
• Ability to rely on judgment for personal safety regarding work.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry 200 feet.
• Able to lift 15 to 25 pounds overhead periodically throughout day.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations within the organization.
• Ability to count and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to effectively relate with others and cooperate as a team member.
• Ability to perform essential functions and responsibilities of the job with some supervision.
• Must be flexible.

Pay Range

Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $23.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
