A growing law firm in Woodland Hills is seeking a full-time, on-site HR Manager to lead daily human resources operations and support firm growth. The ideal candidate brings strong employee relations experience, sound judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment. Law firm experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for attorneys and staff
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention efforts
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance practices
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and employee records
- Partner with firm leadership on staffing and organizational needs
- Support payroll coordination and HR reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws
- Help build a positive and professional workplace culture
Qualifications
- 4 years of HR experience required
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
- Experience managing employee relations and HR operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficient with HR systems and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Law firm or professional services experience is a plus
