Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the first line of defense in protecting REVELxp tailgate sites and equipment. Monitor activity, deter unwelcomed guests, and help ensure the safety and security of all guests and assets on site.
- Perform routine security checks and patrols throughout the tailgate area.
- Monitor guest entry points and allow access only to pre-approved vendors and personnel.
- Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the tailgate site unless pre-arranged and cleared through the designated REVELxp point of contact.
- Confirm that all secured items are locked and properly stored throughout the day.
- Report any suspicious activity, damages, missing items, or abnormalities within the tailgate zone.
- Conduct spot-check inventory counts to ensure items remain accounted for.
- Escalate emergency issues by contacting Campus Police, followed by notifying your REVELxp point of contact.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Professional, friendly, and composed demeanor—must represent REVELxp and partner universities in a positive light.
- Customer-service focused approach; must maintain a welcoming yet firm presence.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and report incidents effectively.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable being on your feet and patrolling for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and manage light equipment as needed.
- Capable of working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Additional Information:
REVELxp requires a Hands-Off Security approach—verbal and visual deterrents are the primary means of conflict resolution. If further action is needed, security staff are expected to involve campus police and notify REVELxp immediately.
