Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Obtain and record patient histories and vital signs
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal) and perform in-house diagnostics
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during and after procedures
- Take radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on pet care, medications, nutrition, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Clean and maintain exam rooms, surgical areas, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
