A growing healthcare organization in the Portland, OR area is seeking an energetic Recruiter to build strong pipelines of clinical and non-clinical talent across the region. You’ll source in the community and online, partner closely with hiring managers, and help ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care—while upholding strict privacy and compliance standards. Experienced candidates will have the ability to work hybrid or remote.
- Source & Engage Talent
- Identify and attract candidates through community outreach, local events, schools, referrals, and digital channels (job boards, social media, CRM).
- Screen & Interview
- Conduct phone and video screens; assess skills, availability, reliability, and role fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear summaries and recommendations.
- Own the Full Recruiting Cycle
- Manage the process end-to-end: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and handing off to onboarding.
- ATS & Metrics
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the ATS.
- Track and report on key metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, show rates, and pipeline health).
- Partner with Hiring Teams
- Collaborate with hiring managers and scheduling teams to anticipate staffing needs and reduce coverage gaps.
- Retention-Focused Recruiting
- Re-engage past applicants and alumni, support referral programs, and maintain “stay-in-touch” cadences with high-potential talent.
- 1 year of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
- (Healthcare or home care experience strongly preferred.)
- MediClear or equivalent HIPAA certification (required for all employees of this health system)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a comfort level in community outreach and candidate engagement.
- Highly organized, metrics-minded, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, field-heavy environment.
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems and common office tools (email, spreadsheets, video interviewing platforms).
- Experience recruiting healthcare roles (clinical or non-clinical).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
