Electrical Technician
Role Overview
As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the electrical and control systems that power fulfillment automation solutions. You will work closely with controls and software teams to ensure systems operate seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Install, wire, and commission control panels, sensors, scanners, labelers, and print/apply systems.
Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical systems, ensuring accurate electrical input/output and data connections.
Support integration of vision systems and inspection modules
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in the field or during commissioning.
Perform preventive maintenance, test functional components, and replace faulty hardware.
Interface with software and controls teams to validate signal/data integrity and ensure system reliability.
Ensure proper safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and compliance during installations and repairs.
Document all wiring changes, test results, and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
Experience with PLCs, sensors, print/apply systems, industrial controls, and field wiring.
Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
Safety-conscious with experience in LOTO and industrial safety standards.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and technicians.
Willingness to travel and work hands-on at customer warehouse sites.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
