We are seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in the production kitchen and support the execution of premium events on-site
Key Responsibilities/Requirements- Assist the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Assist in food production at off-site catered events
- Highly developed sense of urgency
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the commissary kitchen and event stations
- Execute batch cooking, station set-up, and on-site finishing with precision
- Collaborate with chefs, event managers, and service staff to meet client expectations
- Advanced knife skills
- Food handlers certificate that meets local requirements
- 3 years in a sous chef or lead cook role, preferably in catering, banquets, or events
- Able to manage high-volume production without compromising quality
- Experience working off-site
- Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
- Flexible schedule with availability for weekends, early mornings, and late nights
- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, loading vans, and being on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles is a plus
