Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our Reveille Cafe team! You will be responsible for leading, overseeing, and coordinating the Back of House (BOH) team in their daily responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• Be proficient at all positions; egg, pancake, helm, prep, dishwasher
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and treated with respect to maintain working condition
• Ensure that food and products are prepared according to Reveille Café specifications
• Be Serve-safe certified. *if you don’t already hold a valid Serv-Safe, we will sign you up for a class within 90 days of hiring*
• Aggressively learn the skills necessary to perform, train and evaluate all functions of operation
• Be dependable, honest, hardworking and trustworthy, and able to leave your problems at the door.
• Always behave in a professional manner with management team, staff, and vendors
• Set an example of work ethic and teamwork to others
• Be able to motivate staff and hold them accountable while providing a safe work environment
• Work with management team to monitor labor, food cost, and order accuracy
• Receive deliveries and ensure that all products are delivered correctly and are processed properly
• Follow established procedures for day to day operations and work with management to ensure BOH procedures are aligned with business activity
• Maintain a sanitary and clean environment
• Uphold standards of profitability established at unit.

• Previous experience in food service or other related fields
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Be able to work in a standing position for roughly 10 hours a day
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 25-50 lbs

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
