Lighting Design Business & Marketing Coordinator

Reveal Design Group is an award-winning architectural lighting design firm based in Chelsea, NYC, specializing in boutique hospitality, restaurants, retail, cultural institutions, and high-end residential projects across the U.S. and internationally.

We're hiring a full-time Business & Marketing Coordinator to work directly with firm leadership on business development, marketing, and operational coordination across the firm.

What This Role Looks Like

This role blends analytical work with creative brand marketing. You'll analyze RFPs, write and manage proposals for new work, and track win/loss patterns. You'll also handle client relations, create pitch decks, maintain and grow our brand presence (social media, website upkeep, and more), coordinate photoshoots, write award submissions, and organize networking events.

The work spans the strategic and the operational. You'll craft the firm's external voice while keeping business development organized. If you've worked in a design firm's marketing department, managed RFP pipelines for an architecture or interior design practice, or coordinated communications and content for a creative services company, you'll recognize this role.

Ideal Previous Experience

• Marketing or business development coordinator at a design firm in an adjacent industry
• Proposal writing or RFP coordination in a professional services or design context
• Communications, content, or brand management for a creative agency or design-adjacent company
• Account coordination at a design studio or creative consultancy
• Any role combining strong writing, organizational systems, and genuine interest in the built environment
• A degree in marketing, communications, business, architectural lighting design, theatrical design, or a related design field is a strong foundation, but demonstrated experience in proposal writing and design firm marketing carries equal weight.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Bluebeam Revu
• Strong writing skills; ability to produce polished proposal and marketing content
• Familiarity with social media management and website platforms
• Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to read architectural drawings is a plus
• Knowledge of architectural lighting/design process is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience
• 20 days PTO per year (vacation and sick combined)
• Summer Fridays (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
