Summary

As a Punch Press Set Up Operator you will be is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press machines used to cut, shape, or form metal and other materials.This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional products that improve the quality of life for our customers.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough inspections of parts during production to ensure quality standards are met.

· Operate a hand jack as part of material handling procedures.

· Adhere to the company’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policy at all times.

· Meet production targets as specified in pieces per hour.

· Adhere to the company’s Safety Policy at all times.

· Receive training on the proper use of a caliper, micrometer, and blue prints.

· Possess a basic understanding of mathematical concepts related to measurements.

· Read and interpret shop orders with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate production processes and specifications are followed.

· Perform computerized set ups.

· Able to work with minimum supervision.

Requirements:

· Must have minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.

· Must have minimum 2 years of punch press set up experience.

· Prefer someone who knows how to troubleshoot dies.

· Prefer someone who knows SmartPac.

· Prefer someone who has experience working on a stand-up forklift.

· Prefer someone who has experience operating a crane.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours in a day.
