This position requires extended periods of standing and walking on a manufacturing floor environment. Protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gowning) must be worn as required. The role operates in a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required. Must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside of scheduled hours on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel in following policies and procedures
- Leads the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products
- Evaluate and improve work processes resolving problem areas
- Ensure product quality through a commitment to SOP adherence and training of staff
- Assist in staffing the production areas and ensure employees demonstrate a commitment to maximizing efficiency and productivity
- Reviews batch record entries
- Calculate yield for finished goods
- Keep production process flowing smoothly
- Conform to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Proficient in using standard computer software and hardware
- Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment
