Learn more at https://www.revrenewables.com.Job Summary:The Head of Strategy & Government Affairs leads our integrated corporate strategy agenda and external policy posture—connecting market intelligence, financial analysis, and regulatory/policy priorities to identify investment opportunities and mitigate risks across the company. This is a highly dynamic role, requiring an ability to move quickly in fast-moving and uncertain situations. This will be a high-visibility role with regular exposure and interaction with the ELT and CEO. This individual must be able to assess complex topics thoroughly, but also quickly synthesize and communicate conclusions to assist in decision making. We are seeking a candidate who has strong power market and regulatory/policy experience as well as proven leadership and communication skills.Duties/Responsibilities:Develop, refine, and operationalize a multi-year corporate strategy, working dynamically with the ELT to identify and assess investment opportunities, test with external stakeholders, and deploy within the company.Analyze and translate market trends into insights that assist in company decision-making.Maintain and continue to expand REV’s power market models with a focus on competitive U.S. power markets.Own the company’s policy plan and advocacy agenda across federal and state arenas; proactively shape legislative/regulatory outcomes that impact development, operations, supply chain, financing, etc. Oversee the company’s engagement with legislators, executive agencies, public utility commissions, and ISO/RTOs (e.g., FERC, PJM, CAISO, MISO) to influence rulemakings, dockets, and market design.Manage the Strategy and Government Affairs teams in day-to-day operations, including responding to ad-hoc needs across the company in a dynamic and flexible way. Develop all investor & Board level communications with the ELT.Support M&A and Finance teams in various processes, as required.Required Education/Skills/Knowledge:Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.5 years in power or energy markets with a proven impact in the renewables/utility sector.Mastery of financial modeling especially as it relates to power generation assets.Mastery of power market analysis, with a strong understanding of U.S. competitive power markets.Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, power market knowledge, and executive communication skills. Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines; exceling in sometimes ambiguous, fast-moving environments.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:Must be able to sit/stand at a desk, using a computer workstation. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk; lift push or pull objects up to 20 pounds. Must be able to handle long periods of screen time and typing.
