Job Responsibilities
- Consistently models a positive attitude and demonstrates a "can-do" mindset
- Ensure team compliance with the quality system and applicable policy, procedure, and practice
- Interface with Engineering on technical issues and make recommendations for change
- Assist in developing standard work for assigned areas
- Cross train employees, develop backups and additional skills in workers
- Serve as back-up Team Lead as required
- Self-check work and inspect prior processes
- Meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Initiate process improvements when able
- Work in close proximity to customer, as needed
- Operate any equipment or tools needed to perform the job
- Assist other team members and departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of product, processes, operations, theory, and practive in assigned area
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blue prints, routings, and BOM
- Ability to lead by example
- Ability to identify root cause, implement corrective action, where gaps to the goal exist
- Strong problem solving skills
- 2 years experience in assigned area
- Participated in at least 2 Kaizen events
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines
- Ability to retain and apply instructions
- Positive attitude
- Work overtime on short notice

- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Must be detailed orientated
- Ability to read and understand truck specification documents
