Coordinator Chassis

Maintain chassis for production, including ordering, releasing, and obtaining incentives.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Order chassis as needed.
• Enter chassis information into chassis database.
• Track chassis production and arrival at plant.
• Assign appropriate chassis to Wheeled Coach orders.
• Maintain chassis status & assure chassis are available at start of production
• Release chassis through appropriate chassis dealership.
• Obtain any incentives available for end users.
• Prepare weekly chassis reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Training:

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate instructions and directions in English.
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Hand-eye coordination.

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
• One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience would be preferred.

• Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.

• Occasionally lift up to but not exceed 40#'s.

• Ability to work with arms above head.

• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Usually the employee will perform a majority of this job in an office environment. However, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Valid Florida drivers license

• Safety glasses or prescription safety glasses with side shields
• Face shields
• Ear plugs
• Work Gloves
• Protective disposable suite when necessary
• Respirator when required for hazardous materials
• Steel Toe Shoes
