Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Education Platform Specialist to join our team within the travel industry. As an Education Platform Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and managing educational programs and platforms that enhance the knowledge and skills of our employees, travel agents, and partners. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and oversee digital learning initiatives and resources that support the professional growth and development of our stakeholders.
What Youll Be Doing
Education Program Development: Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop comprehensive educational programs tailored to the travel industry. Design engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, webinars, videos, assessments, and other relevant content.

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Manage the implementation and ongoing administration of the learning management system. Ensure the LMS is user-friendly, up-to-date, and aligned with the industrys best practices. Troubleshoot technical issues, create user accounts, assign courses, track progress, and generate reports on training activities.

Digital Learning Content Creation: Create and curate high-quality digital learning content that covers a wide range of topics, including travel industry trends, destination knowledge, product training, customer service skills, sales techniques, and compliance guidelines. Leverage multimedia tools and technologies to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.

Training Delivery and Facilitation: Conduct live and virtual training sessions for employees, travel agents, and partners. Deliver dynamic presentations, facilitate discussions, and provide guidance to ensure optimal learning outcomes. Adapt training methodologies to accommodate different learning styles and engage diverse audiences.

Learning Needs Analysis: Conduct regular assessments and surveys to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization and among our external partners. Analyze feedback and data to inform the development of targeted learning interventions and improvement strategies.

Training Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement evaluation methodologies to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Collect feedback, analyze data, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Monitor industry trends and advancements in educational technology to enhance the quality and impact of our learning initiatives.

Stakeholder Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to ensure alignment of educational initiatives with business objectives. Establish strong relationships and effective communication channels to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure the successful implementation of training programs.

Compliance and Regulatory Training: Ensure that all training materials and programs comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements. Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and ensure the training content reflects the latest standards and guidelines.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Sounds Like A Good Fit? What It Takes to Be Successful..
3 years of work experience in a similar role within Avoya Network preferred.
Proven experience in developing and implementing educational programs and digital learning initiatives.

Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

Strong instructional design skills and ability to create engaging and effective learning content.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both in-person and in virtual settings.

Knowledge of the travel industry, including destinations, products, and customer service principles.

Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data for evaluation and improvement.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively.

Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Adaptability to change business needs and priorities.

Travel industry experience or a passion for travel is highly desirable.

Proficiency within MS Office Suites and Computer Systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at a time.

Ability to travel to home office or other locations as needed.
