- Perform repairs on trailers, including brake systems, suspensions, axles, and electrical components
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Conduct heavy equipment operation such as forklift
- Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with heavy truck repair and tractor-trailer maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques for equipment assembly and repair
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various environmental conditions
