This position will be responsible for the quality of client service, utilization of staff, marketing, office reputation, contract management, billing collection, and project profitability for telecommunications engineering projects.

- Responsible for field activities associated with the project, including supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors/trades and self-performed work
- Manage Subcontractors and self-perform work to ensure timely work to keep the project on time / within budget, and quality
- Tracks equipment purchased is on-site at the project when needed
- Shares responsibility with the construction project manager for developing and keeping to the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures
- Provides leadership of all field-related work activities and coordinates with the Project Manager, Construction Project Manager and Subcontractors, and internal crews
- Serve as the primary point of contact in the field for the project's progress
- Ensures that project site and Amentum and customer assets are secure and maintains a safe and respectful working environment at all times by implementing programs for safety / OSHA, Equal Employment Opportunity / EEO, risk management, training, and quality control
- Coordinates with the project manager for approval on out-of-scope changes
- Facilitates weekly project progress and safety meetings with all subcontractor representatives and coordinates the upcoming week's work to be accomplished
- Attends progress meetings with the owner's representative/construction Project manager
- Ensures that the project closeout process is finalized, demobilizes all resources, and transitions the project to the client
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship required
- 5-10 years of field supervision experience required
- Experience managing Fiber Construction Projects with Budgets between $1M to $20M
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Must be familiar with the construction process of outside plant (OSP) projects.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills is required
- Engineering or Technical degree preferred
