This role is crucial to supporting artist brand marketing, sales, and touring opportunities by advertising and promoting the company’s presence in the music scene to best manage current relationships while increasing exposure for our artists. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research on preferences, competitors, and trends
- Assist with promotional events, trade shows, or other marketing events
- Create promotional materials for social media, blogs, or newsletters
- Manage social media profiles to create, schedule, and engage with posts
- Maintain and update press lists for industry connections
- Draft and distribute monthly newsletters, press releases, and playlist submissions
- Bring awareness of music industry trends and news alerts
Compensation:
- Internship will be unpaid. College students are required to show proof of admittance for school credit.
- Commitment of 10-20 hours per week for a minimum of 120 days
- Internship takes place between January and April 2026 with an option to extend upon satisfactory completion
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.
- Deep passion for music and familiarity with the music business.
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing priorities and environments.
- Experience with office productivity software like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Adobe, Squarespace, and Canva.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tech solutions.
- Familiarity with digital streaming services and music data sites.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Music Business, Media & Entertainment, Events Management, or a related field preferred.
- Local to the tri-state area (New York/New Jersey/Connecticut) preferred.
