We are seeking a skilled Concrete Polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for grinding, polishing, and finishing concrete surfaces to achieve high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, and the ability to operate specialized equipment safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, repairing cracks, spalls and nail popouts.
- Operate grinders, polishers, and other equipment to achieve desired finish.
- Apply densifiers, sealers, and dye to enhance durability and appearance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate with clients and team members to meet project specifications.
- Perform quality checks to ensure polished surfaces meet required standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in concrete polishing or related field, with minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Ability to operate heavy polishing equipment and hand tools, knowledge of Husqvarna tolling is an advantage.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on feet for extended periods.
- There will be some out-of-town travel.
