Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle all aspects of dough preparation, including mixing, kneading, and stretching to achieve perfect crusts
- Select and assemble fresh ingredients, toppings, cheeses, and sauces with precision and creativity
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen area
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives
- Assist with menu planning to introduce new pizza flavors and seasonal specials
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality control during food preparation and serving
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive work environment focused on exceptional service
- Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and serving to meet health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide or culinary assistant is highly desirable
- Proven kitchen experience with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques required
- Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus
