Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Interpreters to facilitate effective communication between English-speaking individuals and speakers of foreign languages. This role involves providing interpretation and translation services across various settings, including medical appointments, hospitals, therapy sessions, and follow-up visits. The ideal candidate will possess strong language proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to travel to meet clients as needed. Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation services in both spoken and written forms between English and foreign languages.
• Translate medical documents, instructions, and communications with precision, ensuring clarity and cultural appropriateness.
• Assist healthcare professionals and patients during medical appointments, hospital visits, therapy sessions, and follow-up meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interpretation activities.
• Travel as required to various locations such as doctors’ offices, hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare facilities to meet patients and support communication needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective understanding across language barriers.
• Stay informed about relevant medical terminology and updates to provide accurate translations.
• Manage scheduling of interpretation sessions efficiently to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and at least one foreign language; additional languages are a plus.
• Spanish, Haitian Creole, Russian, Turkish,Punjabi, Ukranian, Urdu (Pakistan) Chinese (Mandarin), Chinese (Cantonese), Hindi, Portugese, Arabic, Bengali.
• Demonstrated experience in interpretation and translation services.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Ability to travel frequently to various locations as required by the role.
• Reliable transportation or means to meet clients at different sites.
