RETRO Environmental is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for asbestos & lead abatement, mold remediation, and demolition projects.
This role is responsible for overseeing jobsite execution, supervising field teams, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
Salary range is from $80,000 to $93,000 commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Planning
· Review plans, specs, and contracts to confirm scope and requirements
· Coordinate with PMs and Supervisors on schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment
· Identify and communicate issues, delays, or scope changes proactively
Team Leadership
· Lead field supervisors and crews to deliver safe, efficient work
· Coach and mentor team members to sustain high performance
· Conduct routine jobsite visits and maintain consistent team communication
Resource & Operations
· Ensure projects are properly staffed and equipped to meet goals
· Coordinate equipment rentals, waste disposal, and material deliveries
· Monitor resource usage and return unused equipment or materials to control costs
Safety & Compliance
· Champion a strong safety culture across all jobsites
· Enforce OSHA compliance and applicable environmental and demolition standards
· Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments
Quality Control
· Hold work to company standards, project specs, and regulatory requirements
· Conduct inspections and monitor quality throughout project execution
Client Communication
· Maintain professional client relationships and respond promptly to inquiries
· Document all discussions affecting scope, schedule, or cost
Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, reports, inspections, and safety records
· Support field teams in using company systems correctly
Minimum Qualifications
· Experience supervising asbestos abatement and/or demolition projects
· Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements
· Proven leadership and team management skills
· Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
· Fluent in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required
