POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Steamboat Springs, CO. The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily activities of housekeeping personnel, assigning tasks and ensuring that all cleaning duties are performed to the highest standards. This role is essential in ensuring all properties are cleaned, staged, and maintained to the company’s highest standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and capable of managing fast-moving operations across multiple properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise Housekeeping Staff – Oversee daily activities, assign tasks, support the team, and ensure all cleaning duties are completed to company standards.
· Training & Development – Train new staff on company cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest-service expectations to maintain consistent performance.
· Quality Control – Perform regular inspections of units, hallways, and common spaces to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and adherence to quality standards.
· Inventory Management – Track, restock, and order cleaning products and equipment while staying within budget constraints.
· Guest & Owner Relations – Address and resolve housekeeping-related concerns quickly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction.
· Scheduling – Create daily and weekly schedules that align staffing levels with occupancy, turnover volume, and operational needs.
· Reporting – Provide management with accurate reports on staff performance, inspections, supply usage, and operational updates.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality-related education preferred.
· 2 years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory or lead-role responsibilities.
· Strong leadership, communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products, plus comfort with inventory tracking systems.
· Detail-Oriented – Ensures every unit meets rigorous cleanliness and presentation standards.
· Customer-Focused – Dedicated to enhancing guest and owner satisfaction.
· Problem Solver – Able to quickly identify issues, implement solutions, and support the team in high-pressure situations.
