What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista & Kitchen Team Member position at Retreat Sweets?
Retreat Sweets is an Asian-inspired mochi donut and café concept in Westport, CT. We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our crew!
What you'll do:
- Take customer orders and operate the register
- Prepare espresso drinks, specialty beverages, and other menu items
- Help fry and finish mochi donuts (training provided)
- Keep the café clean, organized, and stocked during your shift
- Provide warm, attentive customer service
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, upbeat attitude and strong customer service skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn barista skills and kitchen/fryer tasks (no experience required — we'll train you!)
- Reliable and punctual
- Food handler's certification a plus, or willingness to obtain one
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Salary : $16 - $18
