The Manufacturing Trainer will assist in hands-on training of manufacturing processes. They will monitor current processes and take corrective action when needed to comply with current work instructions, controlled documents, and employee training. Additionally, they will assist in educating employees on current training programs to grow employee knowledge and improve processes.
Position Requirements:
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor
- Conduct hands-on training of manufacturing processes and monitor change implementation in all operations on all shifts
- Maintain knowledge of control books; address discrepancies with supervisors, leads and training coordinator as needed
- Monitor procedures are consistent, adapt training style to help team members understand and adjust to new information
- Assist with Safety Certifications and Renewals, complete necessary paperwork
- Support the Cross-Training program, maintain knowledge of operation processes and changes
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and potential improvements
- Serve as a positive leader by exhibiting and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets
- Inspire, motivate, and lead others in utilizing Lean manufacturing tools to deliver results
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in a business or engineering field or two or more years in a training related position.
- Software experience: Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
