Job Opportunity as an Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Scribe
Location(s): Torrance, CA, with an office in Downtown Los Angeles
Preferably full-time (with a commitment of at least 1-2 years), but we will consider part-time for the right candidates

What you will be doing:
- Obtaining ocular and systemic history, including visual acuities, intraocular pressures, assessing pupils, confrontational fields, etc.
- Performing diagnostic retinal testing
- Administering topical ophthalmic or oral medications under the direction of the physician
- Assisting with outpatient surgical procedures, such as intravitreal injections and prophylactic laser treatments
- Scribing while the physician examines a patient, recording data into an electronic medical record system, and helping with patients' questions/concerns thereafter
