Clinic Manager - Ophthalmology

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our thriving multi-site retina practice. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with specific expertise in retina. The Clinic Manager provides exceptional organizational and operational skills, the ability to ensure efficient clinic workflows, and deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities:

1. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring approximately 80% of the workweek to be spent providing direct clinical support in the clinic, including scribing and technician responsibilities. The role requires strong scribing proficiency, clinical knowledge, and excellent patient care skills.
2. Manage the day-to-day operations of five offices in Palm Beach County. This position requires regular travel. 
3. Implement and optimize office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
4. Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff, fostering a positive work environment.
5. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
6. Address patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
7. Implement quality assurance measures to enhance clinical outcomes and patient safety.
8. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
9. Evaluate and implement electronic health records (EHR) and other technological advancements to improve operational efficiency and patient care delivery.
10. Collaborate with physicians and senior management to develop strategic goals and initiatives for practice growth and development.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in ophthalmology-retina preferred.
