Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through check-in and appointment processes
- Manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and handle billing processes including medical collection tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering multi-line phone systems efficiently and directing calls appropriately
- Support clinical staff by preparing intake forms, updating care plans, and managing medical office management tasks including filing and data entry
- Utilize computer skills to navigate various EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
- Efficiently and accurately interviews patient and documents medical history
