We are adding to our team and seeking to hire a Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Coordinator to assist at the front desk and to compliment our existing team. This is a key shared role in our practice, with this individual being responsible for all tasks associated with the front desk.

- Exceptional customer service skills with a minimum of one years' experience in a medical practice
- Experience managing a multi-line telephone system
- Knowledge and understanding of medical insurance plans
- Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software
- Personable, dependable, dedicated, and displays a positive attitude
- Multi-tasker, problem solver and detail oriented
- Comfortable learning new skills and systems
- Team player and drama free
Daily responsibilities include:
- Greets patients in a friendly, professional manner, checking them in and out
- Schedules appointments for new and recurring patients using our EHR system
- Process patient payments
- Answers multi-line phones and either directs the caller or handles the caller's needs
- Maintains scheduled patient information and insurance verification
- Ensures that all patient information in patient's electronic charts is up to date
- Maintains recalls
- Works directly with the technicians and billing team to run a smooth office flow for our patients.
