Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' development and independence
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote self-care skills
- Collect data on client behaviors
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop, update, and follow personalized care plans
- Support teaching sessions by reinforcing positive behaviors and managing challenging behaviors through effective behavior management strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for clients
