Job Summary
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from initial planning through final installation. This role ensures projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards while coordinating between clients, engineers, production teams, shipping and installers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple millwork projects simultaneously from kickoff to completion
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, purchasing, production, shipping, installation)
- Ensure accuracy and approval of submittals, shop drawings, and material selections
- Track change orders and billing
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales, Production, Engineering, Shipping, and Installation
- Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Lead project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders
Tasks
- Enter sales orders within 3 days of order receipt
- Create and maintain new part numbers into M1
- Maintain accurate ship dates in M1 and teams.
- Create order folder and team’s channel
- Upload pertinent material into order folder and teams
- Inform engineering and production team about existing orders
- Request engineering drawings to be produced.
- Work with engineering team to address issues/concerns to enable accurate and timely submittal and production drawings.
- Review accuracy of submittals per architectural drawings or client provided drawings.
- Set up and lead kick-off and page turn meetings
- Work with purchasing team to ensure materials have been ordered and will be on-site in time to start production.
- Work with programming and production to ensure we are on track to meet deadlines
- Review parts for correctness and quality.
- Create packing list and/or installer hardware lists
- Issue POs to vendors, installers, etc.
- Follow up with Client or Sales on site readiness
- Work with shipping team to setup truck schedules and delivery instructions
- Work with install team to address issues with product, site variables, and any items that are needed to complete the install.
- Let accounting know that order is ready to be invoiced.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
