Position Overview
As an Event Staff Team Member, you’ll help bring our vendor markets and company activations to life. You’ll work alongside our event leadership team to ensure every event runs smoothly while providing an exceptional experience for vendors and guests.
No two events are the same, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and loves working with people.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Help vendors during move-in and throughout the event
- Check in vendors and answer questions
- Ensure events stay organized and on schedule
- Monitor vendor spaces and event operations
- Assist with customer service and guest engagement
- Maintain a clean, welcoming event environment
- Help direct vendors, customers, and volunteers
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Represent Retail Therapy AZ in a positive and professional manner

- Is comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather
- Can lift up to 40 pounds
- Has reliable transportation
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly
- Has weekend and evening availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous event, festival, or market experience
- Retail or customer service experience
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
