Repair Technician - POS Systems

We are currently looking for a Repair Technician available to work in our Headquarters in Fenton, Missouri. 

The Repair Technician Level 1 will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all POS and POS related equipment, including- point of sale terminals, impact printers, thermal printers, ink jet printers, servers, network switches, routers, workstations and all kitchen video related equipment. Assuring the equipment is up to the standard set by RTG. 

Essential Job Duties

• Troubleshooting, diagnoses and repair of all POS and POS related equipment, including- point of sale terminals, impact printers, thermal printers, ink jet printers, servers, network switches, routers, workstations and all kitchen video related equipment
• Refurbishment of equipment and assuring quality is up to standard 
• Meet the required weekly standard of production 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

• Has firm understanding of basic electronics and a well-developed troubleshooting process 
• Proficient with basic hand tools 
• Learning Orientated
• Strong problem solving/analysis skills
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check 
• Positive Attitude
• Team orientated, able to work well with others. There is a large team here that works together to help one another  The ability to take direction and stay level headed in an environment that can become high pressure at times 
• High level of attention to detail is a must 

Education and Experience 

• Some college coursework in an IT related field or equivalent work experience is preferred 
• Have a solid grasp on PC hardware and troubleshooting skills, Point of Sale is a huge plus but not required 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Work is performed in a climate-controlled warehouse/shop environment 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. 
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. 
• The Repair Tech must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
