Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist customers with product questions and recommendations
- Operate the POS system and process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately
- Promote products and use upselling techniques when appropriate
- Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized product displays
- Assist with inventory counts and monitor stock levels
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift
- Answer phone inquiries professionally
- Work with team members to support daily store operations and sales goals
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team
- Ability to keep merchandise and displays organized
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
