Stocker / Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Stocker / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, maintaining organized store shelves, and ensuring smooth checkout processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail sales. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base. Duties

• Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and transactions
• Greet customers with professional phone etiquette and assist with inquiries
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise according to store standards
• Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience
• Maintain accurate retail math for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts
• Assist customers with product selection and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage merchandising displays to attract shoppers and promote sales
• Supervise or assist with product demos when needed
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and ready for customer use
• Support inventory management through stocking and replenishing supplies

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures required
• Supervising experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, pricing, and inventory counts
• Experience with upselling, merchandising, and product demos is advantageous

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
