Our client a well established FQHC in Nassau County, NY is seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Physician to add to there team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of conditions in a general practice setting.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide immunizations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including appropriate coding.
- Participate in peer reviews, clinical education, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and billing practices.
- Participate in on-call and emergency coverage as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Retirement: 403(b) with 3% matching

- Holds a Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school
- Currently licensed and registered as a physician with New York State
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or Family Medicine
- Serving both school-age and adult populations
- Ability to travel between 2 locations
- A passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Preferably enrolled in Medicaid
Salary : $208,000 - $223,000
