OT, Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Jacksonville. As a key member of our educational support team, you will provide essential occupational therapy services to students, helping them achieve their full potential in an academic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance students’ ability to perform daily school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and document students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for accommodations and modifications.
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students with occupational therapy needs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
