Overall Job Description:
Status Clerk/Dispatcher assists the assigned Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager with the control of time cost and quality of their clients store maintenance needs. Must plan and coordinate all aspects of their assigned accounts and individual service order from taking the call/email of the issue, entering, findings/assigning a vendor, re-assigning a call, following up with vendor/store or any part affiliated with the calls, tracking parts/objects, securing quote, closing the call, following up for required billing documents or vendor specific documents, and billing document issues. Assist with any Retail Handyman Inc. related tasks regarding any process of the flow of work from the time it comes in to the time it is billed out to the client to include all issues that need to be resolved.
Maintaining and staying on top of your individual email and vendor email if and when assigned. Sending out within not to exceed proposal and sending out approval proposals once the clients have approved the call.
Status Clerk/Dispatcher is the point person for the daily tasks at hand and must be able to present any piece of information relative to the assignment in a moment’s notice so staying organized and detailed oriented is key.
Status Clerk/Dispatcher Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with assigned Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager. You must understand what their needs are when given; meet their time lines and expenditures and expectations.
· Competing any tasks relate to the company with guidance if needed and assigned by their Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager
· No client contact unless given approval on a case by case basis from client assigned Project Manager. All client call need to be directed to the Project Manager.
· Take incoming calls from customers/vendors, input the new information into the system and take any actions with this new information needed to help continue to get the job complete for the customers.
· Enter customer calls in the system.
· Dispatch and schedule calls to local vendors communicate with the local vendors responsible for completing service orders. Make sure they understand time lines, expenditures and automated systems requiring sing in n out procedures.
· Documenting all correspondence regarding any job whether verbal or electronic in job notes. Pertaining to the specific job.
· Perform and complete all assigned status calls, if status cannot be completed that day an email with remaining status needs to be sent to the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager so proper follow ups can occur to include reason for not completing assigned status.
· Maintain adherence to your budget guidelines, quality/safety standards for both locations requiring service and client guidelines.
· Motivate and boost morale of your supporting vendors and associates in the office.
· Ability to plan and organize local vendors, support stall and daily events.
· Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
· Strong focus on quality of work.
Skill Requirements :
Typing, Data Entry, Computer Knowledge, Internet Skills, Communication Skills, Scheduling Skills, and Multi-Tasking Skills. Basic knowledge of construction, plumbing, electrical and general contracting scopes of work.
The schedule for this position will be Saturday thru Wednesday.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
