Retail Facility Handyman

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility repairs on client's retail properties.
• Provide carpentry and general construction services.
• Carry out sheetrock, spackle and painting projects with attention to detail.
• Move furniture and equipment in preparation and completion of projects.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in repair and installation tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (valid work permit required)
• Be flexible for work assignments: Able to work late afternoons and evenings as well as travel for longer assignments when necessary.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous handyman or related experience necessary.
• Have some knowledge of cleaning solutions and materials.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions as well as learn new tasks and procedures.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected; must be dependable
• Experience in painting, ensuring high-quality finishes preferred.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance and best practices.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
