Duties

• Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Interview and onboard new employees, fostering a positive work environment that promotes employee orientation and ongoing training & development.
• Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize sales and minimize shrinkage.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract customers, increase sales, and enhance store visibility within the community.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support team members’ professional growth through effective leadership and communication skills.
• Maintain compliance with LCB, company policies, safety regulations, and store standards while managing shift schedules and budgeting responsibilities.

Skills

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with strong supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, and retail math.
• Ability to handle customer service issues professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Skilled in employee orientation, interviewing techniques, recruiting strategies, and training & development programs.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and organizational skills.
• Experience with retail sales management, shift management, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
