Resurrection Home Care is currently seeking a warm, reliable, and dedicated caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support to our clients. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and preferences
- Prompt clients to take prescribed medications as directed by their physician
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and cleaning
- Accurately document care provided and maintain detailed records
- Notify the supervising nurse or case manager of any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Uphold strict confidentiality of all client information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred but not required: At least 6 months of caregiving experience, ideally in a home care setting
- Preferred but not required: Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically capable of lifting/moving up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and a caring, respectful attitude
Language Preference: We especially welcome applicants who can be available early in the morning or on an overnight shift.
