Resurrection has an opening for a Coordinating Assistant to Adult Discipleship in our Ministries & Programs division! The position is part-time, non-exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Please see below for a full job description.
Job Summary
The Coordinating Assistant provides administrative support for the Leawood Adult Discipleship team and helps manage daily operations for Leawood. This position is also a member of the church-wide Administrative Professional team, which provides for the development of administrative professionals across the organization with focus on skills, cross-training, use of technological tools and cross-divisional collaboration.

Position-Specific
- Professionally represent the supported staff team, including serving as an initial point of contact with inquiring congregants, answering questions and routing phone calls.
- Working with the Leawood team when completing RXP requests and providing support as needed.
- Provide administrative support for projects and events such as making bulk room reservations, creating sign-up links, using Canva to create materials if needed. Assisting with set up when requested by the Lead Director.
- Managing the food for evening programming. Including ordering, staying within budget, and offering variety.
- Working with volunteers to offer hospitality to our guests and congregants.
- Provide administrative support, when directed, to assist other parts of the Division and Church.
- Other duties, as assigned.
