Responsibilities
Execute on systems and procedures to ensure seamless execution of all school operations each day, including, but not limited to, school nutrition set up and distribution, facility maintenance and upkeep, supply and asset inventory and maintenance (technology, books, classroom supplies, etc);
Ensure that the Front Office experience for scholars, families, and visitors is high quality and customer service is aligned to our mission and values;
Execute daily attendance and tardy procedures including ensuring the timely entry of data into the school information system and communicating with families regarding daily absences and tardies;
Build deep relationships with scholars, families, and staff to foster a culture of joy and community;
Support schoolwide and grade level initiatives such as Parent University Nights, Spread the Love Week, Black History Month, 100th Day of School, Awards Ceremony, Storybook Character Day, Read Across America, Spring Fling, March Madness, etc.;
Support school wide initiatives such as weekend recruitment events, evening parent workshops, and other events with advanced notice outside of regular work week and hours;
Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by the Director of Operations and School Service.
Qualifications/Certification - All candidates must have a High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. School based experience is highly preferred.
Physical requirements- This job is physically demanding and may require standing and walking for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects up to 40lbs.
Prior Experience - Demonstrates organizational, project planning, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A customer service orientation. Knowledge and use of G Suite (google apps). An excellent eye for detail.
Hours - 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
